IAALV is a cultural, educational, social, and community service, non-profit organization serving and representing the Indian-Americans in the Lehigh Valley for more than thirty years with the following mission:

· To be the organization that best meets the Indian-American community's cultural and social needs through various programs

· To introduce Indian-American children to their parent's heritage

· To establish and maintain good relations with other ethnic organizations, local administration, and the media

· To demonstrate the Indian-American community's good citizenship by participating in community service programs.

Here is the gist of what IAALV membership of $40/family/year gives you and your family:

IAALV represents you in the local area, has forged an excellent relationship with local, state, and federal officials and has been your facilitator for conflict resolutions. This most important contribution should be sufficient to join the organization.
IAALV provides an excellent nexus for nostalgic experience and keeping alive our rich culture – e.g. IAALV raises the Indian Flag at City Hall to emphasize this.
IAALV provides a forum for your children to participate in various programs as performers and organizers. The later develops leadership skills vital for their success in the 21^st century.
IAALV provides great opportunities to introduce your children to their parent's heritage and culture along with a sense of belonging.
IAALV members receive discounted tickets to many programs.
