Butter Chicken

  2. Apply vinegar and salt to chicken. Rub well. Let it sit for 15 minutes.
  3. Rinse off the salt and vinegar.
  4. Marinate the chicken with the yogurt, 50 grams of butter(roughly ¼ - ½ butter stick), and salt.
  5. Keep it aside for 2 hours and then grill till fork tender.
  6. Heat about 4 tbsp of oil in a saucepan.
  7. Add the ginger and garlic paste.
  8. Saute till brown.
  9. Add tomato paste and chili powder. Saute.
  10. Add cashew nut paste and saute for 4 minutes.
  11. Add fresh cream and saute until it dissolves and mixes uniformally.
  12. Add rest of the butter, garam masala, and grilled chicken.
  13. Let the mixture simmer for 5 minutes.
  14. Add kasoori methi and serve hot.
