Ingredients
- 2 lbs Boneless Chicken
- ¼ cup Vinegar
- 2 Tbsp Yogurt
- ¼ cup Fresh Cream
- 250gm butter(roughly 2 sticks - ½ lb)
- 8Tbsp. Tomato Paste
- 10 Tbsp. Cashewnut Paste
- 3 Tbsp. Ginger and Garlic Paste
- 3 Tsp. Chilli Powder
- 3 Tsp. Garam Masala
- 2 Tsp. Kasoori Methi
- Salt to Taste
- Oil
Procedure
- Apply vinegar and salt to chicken. Rub well. Let it sit for 15 minutes.
- Rinse off the salt and vinegar.
- Marinate the chicken with the yogurt, 50 grams of butter(roughly ¼ - ½ butter stick), and salt.
- Keep it aside for 2 hours and then grill till fork tender.
- Heat about 4 tbsp of oil in a saucepan.
- Add the ginger and garlic paste.
- Saute till brown.
- Add tomato paste and chili powder. Saute.
- Add cashew nut paste and saute for 4 minutes.
- Add fresh cream and saute until it dissolves and mixes uniformally.
- Add rest of the butter, garam masala, and grilled chicken.
- Let the mixture simmer for 5 minutes.
- Add kasoori methi and serve hot.
